World-Cup Koksijde November 29th 2008
Written by Marc
Hi folks,

Koksijde is not "friend" with me!! I love the course in the sand for the technique required, but I hate it for the running parts which kill my back!

This year I started under very bad conditions, as I had been sick with terrible headache the two days before. But we had planned a family weekend at the sea, so I nevertheless started.

Contrarily to my habit, I had a good start, but was caught in a crash in the first turn so that I was last attacking the first and most hard running part.I struggled back to the field, but again the rider in front of me had problems and left a gap to the riders in front. No way to double, as there was only one track practicable! My moral was at the deepest and as my mind wasn’t good either, I decided to stop the race in second lap.

Next week, my beloved husband-manager-trainer-mechanic… will hopefully have some time for a few training units ( technical and especially mental) so that I’ll do better in the next races.

Hope I can give you better news from Frankfurt next weekend.

See you

Suzie

P.s.: Read also Hannoy’s first weekend abroad! (in a few days)
