As last year we start de with rain (92 riders) over 89km on a nice rather technical lap, except for the arrival, which was on a very long street lightly downhill. It was a part of Championship races of Vlaanderen, there were attacks right from the begin of the race and I was in many breaks, but didn’t get into the one that went through.

On the uphill I was always with the first riders and was really feeling very strong but the long finish-line so that I made only 19th place of the sprint of the bunch (23rd overall), which is for me a bit disappointing, considering the work I did all race long.
