Race in Oostmalle

Right after start, I took the opportunity to go in a break with Sylvia Debbout, Inge Roggemann and a norvegian national rider, but this break lasted only one lap. As soon as we were caught back, Nana Steenssens attacked and Inge Roggemann immediately took her wheel.Those were gone for ahundred meters when Loes Sels countered. As i know her as beeing a strong rider with a strong team around, I followed and joined the group. We worked really well together and after afew laps got a maximum advance of 2'. Unfortunately the race was a provincial championship and there were a lot of strong riders in the pursuit, so we were caught back just 3 laps before finish after 80km in the lead. Loes tried to continue on her own and there were a few other attacks but none of those was successful and the race ended in a massive sprint where I took 16th place. The win was for belgian champ Ilse Geldof.
