After the race in Steenockerzeel, I decided to do the regional race in Tetange together with Trixy, her boyfriend started at the same place at a criterium for elite, espoirs and juniors.

As I know the boys always start very fast, I decided to ride the 15 km tostart by bike, while Trixy choose to go by car… and paid for it !

As I presumed, the first attack (laterly it showed out to be the one for the win !) went with the start-whistle and even if the race slowed down from time to time, the whole race (on a local lap of 1,8km) was a perfect training for rhythmchanges and « relances ».

I was the only female rider to stay in the same lap as the boys and won the girls concurrence quite easily, finishing 16th overall, without struggling too much in the final sprint (beginners are very hectic in that exercise…).

Trixy managed to stay in the bunch with me after being lapped and finished 2^nd girl.

Next weekend we will start Saturday in Kontich (Bel) for a Kermisrace and on Sunday we will do a 6 hours endurance race in the city of Luxembourg together with Trixys boyfriend.
