Race in Köln-Mühlheim

As in Luxemburg everyone is "on duty" when there are elections, I couldn't travel too far for races and was happy to find a 40km criterium just 2 hours away from home.
This was a good sprint-training as there were primes to win every few laps.
The race was pretty fast, Tania Hennes was there with strong riders from her team (Nutrixxion) and they controlled every attack. Nevertheless I took 4 primes (filled up our wine reserves, lol). In the final sprint I wasn't aggressive enough on the last meters and finished 7th. The winner was Gina Haatz (Team Nutrixxion) in front of her teammate Tania Hennes.

Unfortunately I can't go to Giro del Trentino as the race has been tranferrred to midweek and I'll have to work. So I will race in Belgium the two next weekends before doing the national championships.
