Race to forget!!

Very bad prologue (I hate time trial position!); I started too fast, suppose it was my wish to get finished with it, and finished too slow…

In the begin of stage two, I felt ok, but the race going on I got heavy pain in my back that blocked my will to go on and caused me some problems to follow. Couldn’t convince myself to go on, the vision of the timetrial next day didn’t push me to use my reserves , and so I quit even if I regretted it afterwards!

For punishment, I made all the following stages on my own before the race start and gave my impressions to the team to keep them informed about dangerous spots, climbs and finish.

At least this should make a good training for Trophée d’Or!

World cup in PLouay

Not really my race, too hilly!!Nevertheless I managed to do two of the six laps in the bunch and one more in the cars before I quit. On this very hard course only 41 riders saw the arrival and even our leader Buba was forced to abandon because of pain in her back!
